About Ms. Becky
Welcome to the children’s club web site. My name is Belkis Liranzo, also known as Ms. Becky. I started the Children’s Club licensed daycare with the goal to provide working parents with quality and reasonable child care. Once a working mom and college student myself, I found it very hard to find child care for my daughter, Cassidy.
I completed both my Associate's and Bachelor's degrees and did several internships with different daycare centers. After completing my degree, I went to work for the Yonkers Public Schools. After 6 wonderful years gaining valuable knowledge with the Yonkers Public Schools system, I decided to help other parents and fellow teachers by opening a licensed daycare that offers structure, support, learning and lots of love. At the request of the parents, I opened my second and third location. I take my job very serious and understand how important it is for parents to find a person they can trust and teach their child. I understand; I am a mother. I have been married for 20 years to my wonderful husband Peter. My husband is a retired NYC correction officer. We have 5 children ranging from 8 to 25 years old. Our oldest, Jamel, just completed his Bachelor degree. My 19 year old, Melody, is in her first year of college. She is a synchronized ice skater as well as a freestyle skater; she's also an iceskating coach at Murrays skating center. Melody is in the actors' union. Ms.Melody works in the daycare part time and the kids love her. My other three children are 14-year-old Brittany, 12-year-old Peter, and 8-year-old Cassidy.
I believe that given the right environment and tools for learning, there is no limit to achieving a child’s full potential. I treat the kids at my licensed daycare with the same respect and love as I treat my own. I feel blessed to be able to help other parents in the process of educating our little ones.
